In June 2020, we submitted the building application for our new building on Burgstraße in Westerstede, and had already received the building permit by 01/03/2021.

NBank issued the grant notice for the project’s implementation to Noordtec GmbH & Co. KG, which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

A two-storey office building and two production halls will be built. When selecting the construction method, we ensured that we will be energy self-sufficient and not dependent on fossil fuels. We will achieve this by using geothermal heating technology and a photovoltaic system including battery storage. Our electric vehicles can be refuelled via our own charging stations using the solar power produced by our own PV system and the storage system.

The office building’s central point is a large lounge with kitchen/bar and plenty of seats where employees and guests can meet and chat.
