On Monday, March 20, 2023, the first BioCNG filling station specially designed for trucks was opened by Stadtwerke Rostock in Dummerstorf.

We created the right infrastructure for this project and developed the filling station. Together with the future customers, the freight forwarders, tank profiles were developed, according to which the filling station was designed. The combination of a high refueling frequency and large refueling volumes places special demands on the system technology and was therefore groundbreaking for the project development at Stadtwerke Rostock.

The tank system is specially designed for refueling with large quantities of BioCNG and is therefore ideal for heavy-duty transport. At peak times, up to 2000 kg of biogas can be refueled here per hour. The delivery rate is therefore around ten times higher than at a normal filling station.
