April 3rd was Future Day for girls and boys again – and we also had a great time at our company! For the second time in a row, we were able to give interested pupils an insight into our world of technology.

Three curious visitors spent the day with us in the company, got to know our company and then lent a hand themselves: Under expert guidance, they created their own (writing) table lamp in our production hall – a small project that combines elements from the everyday work of electricians and plant mechanics. Of course, everyone was allowed to take their self-made lamp home with them!

But it wasn’t just at our premises that things got exciting: we were also in action at Westerstede secondary school. In four groups, we were able to show around 100 pupils everything that is possible at Noordtec – from apprenticeships and starting out as a student to the many different opportunities we offer. We also presented our entire company with its various divisions and all the careers available with us.

An exciting day for everyone involved – we are already looking forward to next year!
